People who use the Blogger platform often wonder how do they get a custom domain instead of a johndoe.blogspot.com sub-domain address. I swear this issue messed with me for months, but that’s my fault.
I should have been more proactive in my efforts to find a solution. Well, it’s time to help those who would like to see their custom domain at the top instead of a sub-domain. I use Moniker as my registrar of choice.
I’ve been using them for about a year and a half with no problems. Their customer service can be a little shaky at times, but they are still pretty good.
Blogger gives instructions on how to set up a custom domain, but it’s really not too clear when Moniker is the registrar.
If you follow these instructions you will be fine and have a nice custom domain for your blog. Once you learn this, you’ll be setting up hella blogs….it’s that easy!!! This is strictly for setting up a cname (alias) with Moniker.

Supporting Moniker & SnapNames You ready………You will need to add a "CNAME" record and 3 "A" records for your domain.
> To do so, please log into your Moniker account.

> -After logging in, you will now be in the "My Account" area. On the menu
> on the left, under the "Manage Domains" heading, click on "View Domains"
> or enter the domain name into the "Domain Search Box" provided in the
> center of this page.

> -Click the box next to the domain name(s) that you want to create the
> "CNAME" and "A" Records for.

> -Then click on the "IP link" (this link is located above the list of your
> domain names).

> -On the following page, click once on the domain name you wish to manage.

> -Then Click on the "Add" Button on the right.
